Everything will start on 12th September in Ostrava and in Regensburg. Teams of Czech Republic and Germany will have strong support of home fans who can help them to advance to final round.
Czech Republic starts with game against Russia. Russia is new team in Euroepan Championship but already has one silver from this tournament and Czech team never won over Russia in senior category at European Championship. Other competitors in Ostrava will be Croatia, Greece, WBC 2013 participants Spanish and World Champions 2011 Dutch.
Team of Germany opens championship in Regensburg with France, followed with the game against Belgium, Great Britain, Italy and Sweden.
After first round teams will travel to Brno or Trebic, where they will play play off or play down. Link to schedule is here.
Organizer of the tournament is Czech Baseball Association which cooperates with local clubs. All cities have experience with organization of international tournaments. Ostrava hosted for example World University Baseball Championship 2008, Regensburg organized WBC qualifier 2012 and Brno and Trebic host regularly CEB competitions.
